I am a multi media artist of european decent born and raised on the west coast. 

I live in xwesam on the traditional territory of the Skwxwú7mesh and shíshálh Nations.

Immersion and projection art are my passions and I believe that when people experience art in community it is transformative and creates connection that enriches our lives .   

Mieke is the 2020 winner of the Gillian Lowndes Award from the Sunshine Coast Arts Council.
